Do you play games in your native language?
Mostly directed for people who speak more than one language - do you prefer to play your games in your native language when available, or do you play in a different one? Or maybe your native language usually doesn't have localization?

Catalan is my native language and honestly, I've never seen a game translated into it. So usually I either pick Spanish or English depending on the game and sometimes on the quality, because sometimes Spanish translations are really questionable, or I don't like the voices that much

I only speak English. So I only play in English.

The only exception is if it's a shmup like Touhou or CAVE where needing to know what's being said doesn't matter

Guessing most games don't get an Estonian translation at all?

That is fair, I also like to play with Japanese audio with English or Spanish subtitles if it's possible, especially for Japanese games

English most of the time, but If I have to opportunity to change voices to a different language I will.
For example you can play Botw and Totk in english, but you can set all the voices to japanese.
It really does improve the game.

Yeah, it`s quite rare that anybody bothers making translations for tiny market segment like this.
After using English for decades it`s not much of an issue anyway.

Games don't have Enochian in them.
Why would I want/need to use non-english unless i decide to go with subs?

English is widely used, yeah it sucks when some games in japan never get localized. but someone probably has already made a fan translation if the game has a decent following, if the developers themselves didn't care to localize.

I tried out Croatian once since it is similar to Serbian, but I'd just rather play in English. RE6 had Serbian zombies and it was hysterical, I loved every second they spoke because they were so cartoonishly evil. GTA 4 handled Serbian language terribly, dude couldn't pronounce a single word right.

Although I will say that playing Croatian Buzz Quiz on PS3 was pretty fun in a group.
