Do you play games in your native language?
Mostly directed for people who speak more than one language - do you prefer to play your games in your native language when available, or do you play in a different one? Or maybe your native language usually doesn't have localization?

Catalan is my native language and honestly, I've never seen a game translated into it. So usually I either pick Spanish or English depending on the game and sometimes on the quality, because sometimes Spanish translations are really questionable, or I don't like the voices that much

my first language is Afrikaans (similar to Dutch from Netherlands) and so far no game have a language option for it, but windows have and it feels extremely weird but same time satisfying. But i usually stick to English

Nope, I always play videogames in english, playing it on my own native language isn't even possible due to the reason filipino voicepack isn't even available.
I play English games in their native language, to help me pick up some catchy phrase.
I dont know, maybe deep down, I feel humans are as problematic as their language, and the act of translating between language, is as it seems translating problems.

Yes, albeit there's not always good translations or voice acting. Albeit, If i know well enough the "original" language of the game, i tend to play it that way.

Exception being South East Asia, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, South Korean, Hebrew, etc. games, .i haven't had enough practice to understand their alphabet nor language as a whole. However i do tend to leave the original language dub and let the menu, text, etc. in a language I understand well..
