This is what gamers mean when they say we don't want politics in our video games
The majority of people pushing that agenda do not understand that gamers do not like to be lectured...

Not wanting politics in our games means we do not want real life social issues to be present...

The fictionalized world can have their own fictionalized politics all throughout the game we don't care...

The millisecond that inject identity politics/social issues of real life in the fantasy game is when it becomes stupid

So politics in video games, just the ones you want?
For me it was the 2nd last Wolfenstein game. It could have been a good game but the devs had a case of TDS and pushed their "we hate gronald grump" politics in the game. it was so sloppily handled.

Nobody is politicising any game. It is always you guys bringing in politics into every game and it’s discussion. And it’s annoying as duck.

Real
I disagree, people seem to generally enjoy real-world politics in games, they just don't like being talked down to, or being subjected to virtue-signaling that's not actually saying anything.

Dragon Age Veilguard making you do push-ups for misgendering someone is a 12 year old's idea of social commentary. Disco Elysium's exploration of race issues actually gave me pause a couple of times.

Tolkien described this as the difference between allegory and applicability.

Allegory is the author's purposed domination over the reader and their opinions while applicability explores real issues and allows the reader to make decisions on how they feel based on the narrative.

What do you mean by politics most of the "woke DEI slop" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ im hearing about in recent videogames is quite literally just a woman not being gooner bait with huge ass and boobs and jiggle physics and gamers getting mad because they dont understand that not every single woman was made to be jerked off to and women dont have to be attractive and just because you dont like a woman s appearance it doesnt maker woke
And yet people are CHOOSING to see politics, rather than just playing the game for what it is. Let's not kid ourselves. Some people on here are just LOOKING to be outraged by actually going out of their way to complain about "supposed politics" in games which doesn't even focus on it.

I mean, you might as well complain that Stalker 2 somehow "imposes its politics" on you. When every other game is being accused of being possibly "woke", it's kinda hard to take the argument seriously, since the accusation comes BEFORE any actual evidence of it.

Meaning there's just people LOOKING to be outraged. They don't make the thread or ask the question because they genuinely worry or concerned, but rather, WANT to be outraged, and if the game ISN'T "woke", they'll find SOMETHING to complain about so that they CAN justify accusing it of being "woke".

Like any typical ragebait, they're not really interested if the game ISN'T woke, because then they can't ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan about it. I'm currently playing Radiophobia 3, which is an overhaul mod of the original STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl. The LAST thing on my mind is whether any of the characters in the game are "woke".

I don't think you understand the meaning of Donald Trump. I'm afraid it's politics all the way down.
IDK
Payday 2 was pretty popular.

Murky Water - Black Water

Stealing other countries national treasures from American Corp Warehouses. <shadow raid>

The whole game is pretty political. I think that is what made it so popular at the time.
