What Chinese companies would absolutely despise being tied to the CCP/wish to move out of Mainland China?
In my opinion Mihoyo would wish to do everything to move outta China for example. Because the CCP may just do random restrictions on gaming on stuff, etc.

If there was a game about Taiwan being an independent country they'd hate it.

They are all owned by Chinese, but most of them brand themselves as "all American"

Just like MG branding itself as British

Billibilli wasn't very happy with the takeover; it was doing foreign-owned work but it was allowing the actual Chinese citizens doing the shows to express themselves.

I'd describe the post-takeover shows they've put out as 'stiff' at best, and as a publisher they've clearly been trying to court foreign interests so that they can blame everything on them.

None of them, since a good portion are owned or sponsored by the PLA.

In my mihoyo example yeah, I think developers at that company just hate or dislike the CCP and their dracionian rules. They have wanted to add things that the CCP would despise like LGBT characters in Genshin or Honkai. And also many parts of those games they made worlds that are critical of the CCP

In ZZZ we literally see how a corrupt building developer gets defeated by the cunning hares. Probably a reference to the corrupt developers in China building tofu dregs and useless, badly planned buildings. And how they were using violence and censorship to stop anyone from knowing it.

Politically the CCP has committed to publicizing the incident, but don't want any demonization to occur as it feeds anti-government sentiment.

It does seem like the LGBTQ aspects are why Heaven Official's Blessing isn't getting more production work. Maybe the subtleties of suggesting the Mandate of Heaven doesn't view love as simply as earthly government does creates a political barrier.

It's impossible to deny that there are factions which favor anti-LGBTQ representation, but the larger issue seems to be the gridlock and consequent political hands-sitting. The 'anti-gay league' tends to get its power from illicit and dubious activities, and often favors corruption as a result. I find it hard to imagine its presence in a corruption-deflating government.

As I understand it Mihoyo got moved from Taiwan to the Mainland in order to satisfy English political interests.

It's more like England wants the $$$ going into China, hoping they'll either choke on it or become a beligerent they can punch the money back out of. Saves them from drowning in inflation, as the western world currently is (although everyone with a good UK financial or political relationship is being insulated.)

Some voices say that the point of the move was to mar the reptutation of the female-led Taiwan political scene at the time, as a concession to the male interests who are now dominating in the wake of several categorical reversals in the country's political realities. The failing chip industry, for instance, also caused by a male-led coalition seemingly bent on tearing down the country's position in order to play a more reserved role. Maybe even a subservient one, which fits into the political climate better at the moment.

Many say that it's the switch to a less-open political system which is drawing resentment and antagonism from the CCP; the political success of Taiwan was building their reputation and the reputation of the region as well. A look of subservience looks bad, so they threaten them with actualizing it.

It's hard to say the region could be doing more to undermine itself politically, whether that's their strategy or the strategy of an outsider or not.
