Childhood and the screams of pigs being slaughtered can be terrifying. I just woke up from nightmares with those screams. In the evening, they made me take a wheelbarrow full of entrails to the river, where they were dissected by a fox. The smell was disgusting. Just writing this here and will try to sleep.
