...there's many great film bits/scenes. Even mediocre movies often have one or two. :)

sure pierce brosnan was a combination of action and stealth superstar...but quaid is only shooter.
lets say roger moore and sean connery were the only real bonds.

Bond has had ups and downs in the movies. He used to seem more like a thinking man's action film kind of guy, but with more sex. Then he became kind of a comic. Then he became more of pure action spy. Then more recently, attempt at being a bit more thinking (or brooding) man's action again.

Connery's still my fave Bond actor, but some modern films have been a more fun in the action department. :)

yeah true, the role of james bond gets updated ... at connery and moore times it was cool to get young women, at the brosnan era it was cool to be sneaky and a action hero at the same time, and today its cool to be a mental ill ex cold war agent, who doenst know an answer on "christmas". shooting randomly every opponent he met...moore or connery would catch them and interview...no chance that quaid do this, all die :D somethings wrong with this century dude, seriously :D so james bond turned to a complete anti-hero figure.
