Grand Theft Auto V

Needless to say, I am very excited about this game. Played a ton on Xbox 360, upgraded to PC, didn't bother with Xbone, now it's coming out Jan 27 I hear. Here's the topic. Pre order on an outside thing like gamestop or something. Or, Steam hurries up and pre order it from Steam. I am an avid Steam lover, I spend too much time on it already, and I'd hate to have to buy an outside game. But on the other hand, what if Steam doesn't release pre order in time and I miss the chance to get the pre order bonus things? It's like, 1 million dollars in game I believe (I spend a ton on online mode). I just want to know what you guys are planning on doing.

Steam will allow preorders in time for you to get the bonuses. If not, you will probably get the bonuses on release anyway. I don't think you should be worried about that one. I am not even sure if there are preorder bonuses set for GTA 5. I am planning on waiting till release and seeing how the game runs.

Alright, good to know. Even though I'm level 12 or whatever I don't think I've ever pre ordered a game through steam.

I'm thinking about preordering the game but I want confirmation if the Max Payne 3 team is porting GTA or not. If they are, then I can confidently preorder. If not, well...I'll PROBABLY wait for the reviews.

If they decide no pre order bonus's (which, why wouldn't they do that?), then I'll probably wait for reviews. But I missed out on the pre order bonus for xbox 360 but my brother got it, and it was a huge bonus for him. Either way, I trust steam to do their best.

The first person mode is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome, that's what I can say. There's a bunch of settings that can optimize your experience. FOV settings, controller settings, even a deadlock-type setting I believe. I could tell you more but I wouldn't want to spoil the experience.

Kinda curious why you'd post on a thread focusing on a game you wouldn't like, asking whether to pre order or wait, just to say you don't want it XD That's like me walking into a store, "Hello world! I don't purchase from this store!" walk out.

I saw some video of the first person mode and it is far better than what I figured it would be. They put a lot of effort into the change of perspective. You can tell that it isn't an afterthought at all.

Yeah, I play the game on Xbox so I can vouch for the quality, it's pretty damn awesome, and it works in literally every vehicle there is. Plus, first person ragdolls makes it even more entertaining to throw yourself off of things.

They added two sight options.

1 is the sight that's similar to Fallout 3 aiming I could say. It's great if you're in a mid-close range fight.

2 is the iron sights. Attachable scopes can make aiming real easier, but the distance is the same from my experience.

Yep, there's iron sights, and you can aim down the gun without using iron sights as well.
