Fun games that are moddable like TF2, L4D, GTA 4, Skyrim etc. Anyone know any other fun games that can be modded?

Serious old school game... But the original doom has a lot of serious mods out there that make the game a kick! I remember having a mod that turned all the exploding bins into Mac computers.. Another mod that allowed you to play as Beavus and Butthead... Blast of a game with the mods.

I am starting to believe that the era of modding might coming to an end if game devs dont allow modding in their games.
