Do you use the Backspace or Delete key when you want to delete text?

This might sound like a stupid question, but that's because it kind of is.
For those who don't know the difference, the Backspace key deletes text from right to left, and the delete key goes the opposite direction. I prefer the Backspace key because it's always easily accessable when I'm typing. I'm actually quite curious to see what other people prefer.

Depends on where I click when I'm proof reading to make a correction. Usually both. Sometimes one or the other.

I always use the backspace key when I'm deleting text. Sometimes I right click to delete.

I use both, if I happen to click on the wrong side, I simply hit delete, although I am more used to Backspace, thus I use it more instinctly.

I prefer whichever one is faster in the given situation. Wouldn't everyone?
Why would I go out of my way to make things take longer just because "I prefer pressing this button over that button"?

Most of the time I just correct the whole word I misspelled by highlighting it then pressing backspace once to delete the word, then start over.

Both. Depends on where I need to delete, on left or on right. By default I place cursor for backspace. Delete is often using when coding.

And I also have habit of using DEL key when selecting chunk of text to delete (it's easier to find del key than backspace with fingers)

i don't know of such keys since i can type blindfolded.
seriously, i use both since my typewriting skills are next to nil.
