Whatever you say, pal.
?? Then what is it? R & B? Jazz? It is a subgenre of heavy metal. It has influences from metal, rock, rap, hip hop, electronic....all kinds of crap. It is kind of a bunch of ideas from different genres thrown together with a metal element. It definitely isn't elevator music I'll tell you that.
Lol. That song wasn't metal. Linkin Park did have some metal-like elements in some of their stuff but that was NOT one of them. They were Nu Metal at first but they gradually moved out of that. And a lot of nu Metal is far from what I would call pop. Linkin Park is now more of a pop/rock/rap band. Nice try. And there was far more to that genre than Linkin Park.
Lol. Metal fans are the only fan base that gets angry over something as dumb as a sub genre. "RRRRRR they don't have anything to do with metal. Nothing is as metal as metal!! They are NOT METAL!!!!!!! AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
It is hilarious.
Edit: don't know why that G is censored.
Me playing it at age 13 (audio):
