i7 4770 (non K)

Hi, I bought a gaming rig a while back when i didn't know about overclocking and the difference between K and non K prossesors. I have the i7 4770 and was wondering if and how i can overclock this prossesor even thought it is non K.

PS, Ive gone into the BIOS and can't find the overclock thing.

I OCed a 3770 non K. Doesn't make any difference. Same with the K version I use.

Yes you can but you cant raise the multiplier. But non K processors still have intel turbo boost. The 4770 gets taken up to 3.9 ghz. I have a 4770k and my chip OC's to 4.4 and wont go any higher. If you want to get a new chip, just remember they all OC differently.

also, is a Coolmax V-500 ok for gaming? im getting a gtx 760 sc installed, but i need to get a new power supply too, and i dont have $80 to blow on a Corsair.

So a Corsair 500w Cx Atx PSU will run these specs ok:

i7 4770
GTX 760 SC/w Acx cooler OCed a bit
12 gb RAM (Kingston I think)

ok, i wish i hadn't ordered that coolmax one, lol. none of the reviews i read on it said anything of the sort, but you cant beat info from other gamers.
