Manhunt 2 was released by a AAA company. Hatred is made by an Indie company, as long as they stay indie they can skip the ESRP all together and be released on Steam.

No...they need to be banned. I played Super Mario Bros as a kid. And now when ever I see a turtle I jump right on top of it. I once jumped repeatedly on top of the same turtle for 30 minutes because I thought I could get hundreds of lives that way. So many turtles...so much death...why did my parents buy me an NES!?

I don't think they can get it banned, at least not in the US; it would go against the first amendment of the US Constitution. Considering SJWs got Target of Australia to take GTAV off their shelves because you can kill women in it (even though you can kill men too), though, I wouldn't be surprised if they did something similar to this game.

Anyway, this game is also kinda old news. There was a big controversy about it like a month ago and now nobody cares.

Stores themselves can choose not to carry it, it is their right. The government cannot flat out ban it everywhere though.
