Modern Mickey Mouse Shorts

Over the last year or so Disney has been producing new Mickey Mouse cartoons similer in style to contempory faster paced cartoons like Adventure Time and releasing them on their various Youtube Channels.

How do you think these compare to the slower paced 1930's/1940's Mickey Cartoons?

Same level since I never found the Classic Mickey cartoons as fun to watch as Looney Tunes or Tom and Jerry.

I prefer the old ones, don't know why but these shorts look a little weird with that pacing. Maybe because the creators made that kind of animation with that slow pacing for a reason. The new cartoons are a little lazy regarding frames per second, sometimes it looks too fast and forced. Overall I like better this kind of animation that those modern character desing with 3d modeling.

I didn't watch the video, but I can see a major improvement over the 3D versions already.

I have to say I do really like the fact that they gave Mickey a personality, in the later original cartoons they sort of made him a bland everyman, In therse cartoons he acts bravely, he's mischievous, gets into fights and has real character, I think one that shws off the added personality is the short "Mickey Monkey" which really ups the comedy and does a lot of things animators in the 40's would never dream of doing.
