Can anyone recommend such fantasy game I am looking for.

Basically I am looking for something similar to WoW. Also a very social online community with good game content, ideally for free or an affordable price.

I already play Diablo 4, but its a lot more of a slasher than MMORPG like WoW once was.

Anything you guys can recommend ? It should be a fantasy game with elves, dwarfes and such, not some asian anime world.

So you want it specifically like old school WoW? Like tab-target and 1-10 skills and such?

I haven't played mmorpgs that much in the past decade, but I recall enjoying Elder Scrolls Online. The base game usually goes on sale for $5.

Hmmm... A lot of the current big ones have moved onto different (more-interesting imo) styles of gameplay. You might have to look into older games to scratch that itch.

I've heard Lord of the Rings Online was pretty good. Has dwarves, elves, and such.
Warhammer Online has the "Return of Reckoning" private server. Never tried it but I played that mmo on launch and thought it was pretty good. Has dwarves, elves, and such.
Dark Age of Camelot also has some decent private servers out there (I think Eden is the big one right now) and that game is basically WoW's daddy. Way better Realm vs Realm stuff though, it's basically AV on steroids.

I used to play Guild Wars. Maybe that’s still a thing?

Also as already mentioned, Elder Scrolls Online looks to be good although buying into all the different expansions seems confusing to me.

Guild Wars is still a thing, as is Guild Wars 2.

Honestly I think GW2 is one of the best MMORPGs out there right now. I'm not sure it quite fits the setting that OP seems to be looking for, but it might be worth OP looking into.
