I'm not going to post the clip of Jim Jones making his followers drink the kool aid because its sick. But what would you do? If men with Ak47 are surrounding the area, and Jim Jones is saying drink drink its time for heaven. Would you run or drink the kool aid because heaven?

Arguably it's the city government's decisions to hire mercenaries, since Guyana was pretty far out of their jurisdiction, and the FBI's decision to sign off on that, which caused the cultists to kill themselves.

Flavor-Aid is the generic version of kool-aid. Kool-aid is a name brand and came out first back in 1927. Flavor-aid copied Kool-aid and released their version in 1929.

The original goal of fiancial dependence as a ubiquitous social facet was to make nations as unto cults.

Nobody ever got a choice regarding participating in a cult, just a nominal choice of cult denomination.

If I had to pick between Uncle Sam and Jim Jones' flavoraide I think I might actually prefer the flavor.

99.9% of people there drank it, but almost 50% survived with horrible crippling injuries. the FBI had sold them faulty cyanide.
