Is it possible to transfer music to your iPhone 5s when the music is not from iTunes.
Getting a iPhone 5S soon, I have a android now and what I love about it is that you can literally download music from the internet, this case I used youtubetomp3.net. But I know for a fact apple does not let you do that. I know you can transfer your synced music on iTunes to your iPhone using the cloud but I want to know if I can transfer music that is NOT from iTunes and are .mp3 files to my iPhone 5s using the usb cord. I have many mp3 files in my iTunes but I did not buy them I simply dragged them into my iTunes. So I'm guessing I can just plug it in and drag the music to my iPhone? Or will it not let me? This is crucial, I'm not paying 149 bucks for a phone that can't have free music on it, and screw all the music apps, the ♥♥♥♥ I listen to, you'll never ever find it on music apps.

It's far more complicated than it should be, but that's expected of crapple products.

So I should just drag the mp3 files into the iTunes library and than export them onto the phone? Doesn't sound complicated... I did it on my iPod but I wasn't sure if this method would work on iOS 8... I do agree with you that it's crappy but I just wanted to jail break this thing and I like the design of the phone itself. It also lasts a lot longer than the android in software terms, most androids I have decided to just shut down and never come back on within two or three years of use, my iPod actually lasted like 6 years, good tech considering it was one of the first iPod Touches.
