Novels You Want To See As Movies

I really want to see Listen to the Moon come to life on the big screen. It's a relatively unknown novel by Michael Morpurgo – for starters, there isn't even a Wikipedia entry. (Edit: I just realised that the reason why this is so is because it was published only a few months back *facepalm*) It's basically about a marooned girl, mute due to trauma, set in WW1. Great tearjerker.

The only problem, I think, is to find a good child actor, which are horrible on average.

I liked the story too,but the movie is generally bad.

Rainbow Six. A movie had been in the works many years ago, but it has been shelved apparently. Without Remorse would be another good one.

Movie developers take a 800 page book and condense it into a single movie, yet they take books like the hobbit and turn it into a trilogy. Usually they don't even consider the thoughts of the main protaganist.

Anyways Foundation is getting a movie/show soon. I guess Hollywood is running dry on ideas.

On–topic though, this thread's for novels only. Where's Wally is more or less a puzzle book.

The Christian bible, if you're talking about what religion. Both the old and new testament.

Might be too long for even 2 movies separating the Testaments. And you can guess what people will say if details were left out.

Yeah, might work if the film had a run time of 70 hours or so. Or you could just watch 'History of the World pt. 1'.
