Rome had an empire and political wise still influences us to this day.
As for actual history, the Roman were easily the most important people in recorded European history, not that the Vikings weren't also somewhat interesting.
regardless, I just started watching Viking and I love it. Rome I watched the entire 3 seasons in one weekend because I was gripped to it, fantastic series.
you thought the first 4 eposide narratives where...cheesy? wow...ok
perfer shows without cliff hangers I suppose
I havent seen that one.
All the battles the Vikings have done thus far that I have seen they have won.
That said, battle tactics are far down my list of things I am too worried about when it comes to shows I watch
EDIT: do you mean the peasants lost?
If so those were monks and there was in fact only one boat. anyway I am just at eposide 4
great! looking forward to it. I watched the first 4 espoides last night and I love it. Rome was fantastic
If we're talking Rome the HBO show from a few years ago (i don't know of any other Rome show) it's alright, but i think Vikings is far better. Plus, Vikings is going to be in it's third season starting February...that's more than Rome can say. The first Viking season is a little rough because the History Channel hasn't done true scripted television before. The second season is far better...the ending had me on the edge of my seat.
