Free MMOs or One time pay MMOs?
Are there any MMORPGs out there that are truley free? I don't mean just free to play with millions of restrictions on gold/credits and many other thing. I mean truley FREE. As in: download, and then play as if you were a subscriber. If not, are there any that are a one-time purchase? As in: Pay 60 bucks and then get the game?

I like free to play MMO's but beware memberships and extra currencies you have to buy for in-game items.

Guild Wars 2. Best PvP/WvW. (Pay Once Play forever, or until they shut servers down)

Star Wars The Old Republic. Best story. Now you have to pay to get the expansion for it. $19.99 I think. Otherwise, it's free to play. With massive restrictions.

Yes, I've been playing SWTOR quite a bit lately, but it's hard to get past the restrictions.... I may look into GW 2 though, I've heard good thing about it.

At the bare minimum, you'll still be paying for the electricity used to run the game.

What about.. You guys actually get World of Warcraft because theres no single MMORPG that has 5% competition to World of Warcraft.

I'm sorry but $15 a month or even cheaper is nothing. People blow 5-7 more money into the air by smoking.

Anarchy Online is still one of the best MMO's I've ever played, and everyone can play free.
