Orchestral Music
I would like to know who here on Steam enjoys listening to traditional orchestral music and ask what pieces they enjoy, To give an example of what I mean here's two conducted by Mantovani who was a very famous Orchestra leader from the 50's to the 70's.

Beethoven - Symphony 9, Opus 125.
Lizt - Hungarian Rhapsody No.2
Brahms - Hungarian Dance No. 5
Dvorak - New World Symphony
Tchaikovsky - 1812 Overture
Burgmuller - Innocence, Candeur
Mozart - Turkish March

(All in Orchestral Form of course, however I also love them in Solo Piano.)

All are very delicious composers indeed.

Now Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite is one of his best known but I like the finale to it over the other more famous segments in it.

Thank you for not calling all orchestreal music "classical." That's a pet peeve.

That's a piano solo. If we're posting chamber music,

I understand it's a piano solo, but there are orchestral forms of it. Same with F. Burgmuller aswell I am sure.

Excluding Orchestral variations, a really good piece is the them from Monty Pythons Holy Grail. I always loved that about older British Comedies, even if they were on a budget, the orchestral scores were golden.

Eiji Oue is so much fun to watch. It sucks that he left the Minnesota Orchestra. Watching a conducter pull "O-faces" while signalling for more vibratto is awesome.
