Frozen is super overrated.
Remember that Disney movie that came out about a year ago? Of course you do. Because people won't shut up aboot it. They still make merchandise of it. People are still listening to that whole "Let it Go" song. Hell, they even made JEWELRY based off of it. I mean, what the Hell?
The movie wasn't even that good. It's poorly written and I want to destroy that white piece of poop with a carrot sticking out of it that people keep calling "Olaf". To everybody who still goes crazy over the movie, just stop. I didn't continue to geek out about the Avengers a year it came out. Not even a MONTH after it came out.

It's kinda of a christmas theme now. I think it is dumb too sadly kids these days eat it up. I am more of a classic disney fan myself.
I have to agree.

It's like the movie came out yesterday, one of my friends daughters is obsessed with it. I'm still seeing gifs of it pop up from time to time on some meme sites as well.

What do people find so appealing about this movie? I haven't watched it. :conwayheadscratch:

I haven't watched it either, but here are my guesses.

1. Disney movie
2. You gotta admit, pretty good animation.
3. It has "good music." I disagree, but music is very much an opinionated thing.

The reason why it is appealing is the reason why modern country music like hick hop and Luke Bryan sell. Disney has a crap ton of money they can promote what ever the heck they want and kids are going to love it because they are mindless beast that are obsessed with technology. If only kids would imagine and create things instead of letting TV do it for them. The only reason I turn on the TV is for background noise and I don't use it that much.

Same here. But I do enjoy things on TV. Like South Park. It's funny and has good social commentary.

Good music has dissonace I didn't hear one dim or 7 chord in any disney songs that have come out recently.
I am not saying I always put on the tv for background noise I usally do that.

That is because the movie appeals to kids. The songs are going to stick to simple, bright, happy sounding major scales and chords.
My nieces lose their minds over Frozen. I have developed a habit of walking out of the room when anyone breaks out into song in anything. I cannot stand that.

I hate that when you wish upon a star is the best song ever and it has a lot of dissonace but it sounds so perfect. Dissonance is like salt in cookies if you add too much sugar and not enough salt your song will taste bad.
It will be too sweet... and it will not taste to good... Because we all know songs taste good especailly salty ones.
Yeah Frozen was way too overrated. There was a time when I got irritated by people talking about it, but now I'm pretty indifferent about it. I figure the hype for it is going to last for a long while, so I might as well just ignore it.
Well... It's now becoming a classic disney movie and I hate that about it. It's not at all classic disney feeling or sounds like a classic disney movie.
Its an incredibly well put together movie. Its very solid.....until the last 3d where it crashes and burns.
I could describe it, but doug walker did it just as well so Ill show it here.

that reviewish video points out pretty much everything I would say regarding it.
Overrated, yes, but that doesn't mean its not a good movie. Its definitly what disney needed. they havent exactly been doing great up until the movie came out.
Dear diary,
Today people continue to like things I don't. Why does the world have to be so cruel??? You're the only one with good taste like me, diary.
