Monster Unleaded- What's the Point?

I mean I know some people have a sensitivity to caffiene. I actually have a heart murmur. But seriously, I tried a can of the stuff last night and it was really underwhelming. Their new formula for this is okay, I'll give them that; but it didn't do nearly as much as a regular Monster does. So, guys... what's the point? Because the way it is right now, It's really just soda. (ofc isn't that what energy drinks are? Just really highly caffinated, really good soda?) Anyways, you tell me.

I know. I'm not trying to sound like an energy drink addict, I've only had the stuff 3 or 4 times period. I'm just trying to figure out why Monster, a company pretty much based completely on caffiene, is releasing a product like this. I actually think I answered my own question- they think people like Monster because of the taste when in actuality, I think that's just a bonus. Monster Unleaded tasted like crap btw, and I tried Java Monster this morning... I was not pleased. But yeah, I'm basically just trying this stuff because it's there, I'm not planning on drinking packs of the stuff and getting myself addicted. But, I will say this: this summer I'm planning to get a job detassling corn, and from what I've heard it's a pretty long and hard job. I might, and I emphasize might, start drinking it then. But right now I'm just testing the waters.
