I wish I could help you, but I'm in a bit of a hurry.
1. For Gameboy games, if you exit without shutting down the console it will save the state but if you quit the game by shutting off the console it won't and the game will restart on next launch. Resetting the game, aling with restore points, can be done through the VC menu which is access by tapping on the touchscreen or pressing a preconfigured button (by default one of the right triggers)
2. I don't fully understand that question, but many games do support the Pro Controller (like a traditional gamepad) along with the Wii remotes and Gamepad. it does vary from game to game, but generally games that are played with the Gamepad can use the Pro controller instead unless touch is required.
3. Nintendoland does require Wii remotes, but on the rest it does vary. Games like Smash and Kart support all setups (with Smash also supporting Gamecube games), but third-party games can be hit-or-miss (such as Lego Batman 2 requiring Wii remote+nunchuck when a pro controller would be better)
