Can hear myself through my headset??

I Have a turtle beach z60 pair of heaphones I can hear myself, i have right clicked on audio and done the mic thing but it still doesnt work. please help

Check the inline amp, there should be a way of disabling it there. I have the PX22 headset, and it allows you to hear yourself in the headset if you adjust.

I've had them since december last year but suddenly i can hear my own voice and after 20 mins of thinking my headset was broken, i tried to hold down the mic mute button on the sound driver thing. By doing so i have now learnt i can toggle the feature on and off.

On the little panel there should be a mute mic button, hold that down and there shouldnt be playback

I have the turtle beach px24, and if i hold in the mic button it turns my headset off? What to do, and if i turn my headset off i can hear my teammates, and not hear my self and it works perfectly. But i wanna be able to change the settings of my mic? Anyone know anything about that?
