Looking for a CO-OP game, Skyrim style

Well I'm looking for a game that play's like Skyrim but with CO-OP so the girlfriend can join in too. Or something like Dayz but without the idiots and glitchs. Free 2 Play would be prefered as it will only be for when she wants to play it as I've tons of other games right now that I'm playing but if it's a highly recommended game then I'll consider purchasing.
So hit me with your recommendations people and lets see whats out there.

I doubt there are any Skyrim-like multiplayer games out there. Maybe ESO, but I heard it sucked.

You might just have to both play Skyrim and do a Skype chat or something. If you're in the same room, set up a second computer and have the monitors be side-by-side.

Something like Borderlands sounds appropriate. It's a co-op first person RPG.

Co-Op game published by Bethesda, developed by inXile, in a "Skyrim" like setting.

It is 3rd person, however. Don't think there is a 1st Person Fantasy game with Co-op.

3rd person is fine by me, I can't play FPS for long, my stupid eyes and brain can't manage it :(

If want something creative, Space Engineers is fun, or minecraft of course. Something violent, well DayZ, I guess.

f2p dayz meets minecraft.

Diablo is a co-op rpg. Or torchlight or Path of Exile which is free. Divinity: Original Sin has Co-op. Could do dark souls but managing to play with the exct person is tricky (soul memory and other bs can get in the way) and if she's not a big gamer dark souls is not the one to start her with.

Far cry 4 has a large open world that you can play co-op in. It's a FPS though, not a fantasy rpg.

There are lots of MMORPGs which have co-op and are f2p but some of them are among the worst examples of f2p in existence. I'm not an expert on MMOs but maybe Rift is OK, at least for a while, for free.

Maybe TERA?

You can't get it on Steam, yet. But you can get it from the website for free, the only things you can really buy for cash are mounts and pets, but even then, you get mounts as the story progresses.

thanks eveyone, lots of game ideas. Shall look through them, try the free ones and see what the girlfriend thinks as that will decide who is crowned girlfriend game night winner :)
