UTAU Katakana Character Pronounciations :/
Hey guys
Does anyone have any information on why UTAUloids such as Kasane Teto pronouce Katakan charecters in their voicebanks have an odd Nasal sound to them and where they would be used because as far as I know I don't think many words in Japanese are said perpously "Nasaly".
Thanks for your time :D

If you own Utau start a new project with Kasane Teto Right click anywhere on the Piano roll and click sound list and then keep scrolling along until you find characters in katakana and listen to them. She says them in a nasal tone and if you find her VCV's of say her Shout voicebank and go to any one that has an n before the character you will find if has a very nasal way to its sound

Ok
Step 1:Open Utau
Step 2:Start a project with Kasane teto or Namine Ritsu
Step 3: Right click and click on Sound list
Step 4: Use the scroll bar to find a KATAKANA character
Step 5: Listen to it (It has a distinct nasal sound)
Step 6: Do the same up to step 4 and this time find a charecter like this one:nキ
This will be her VCV of the Nasaly Ki with a N sound before it.
If you do all of this correct I'm sure you will agree there is a distinct nasal sound.
