Asus Sonic Radar II

This used to be a major topic within some communities about whether or not Sonic Radar is a cheat/hack. Just wanted to see what people still think about it.

Honestly ive used it a few times just to see what happens and such. From my opinion i can get the same use from a good pair of headphones/sound system. The only difference is i have a physical "map" with the radar instead of guessing the sound direction by pure sound.

For those who do not know what Sonic Radar is, its basically an onscreen overlay that shows the direction of sound. Such as gunshots, footsteps, and any other loud noise. This system works by taking sound data THAT IS ALREADY AVAILABLE. This is then processed into the overlay that shows the data. Basically doing the deciding for you. Like i said above you can basically do this all with your brain if you have a good sound system. It also provides a useful tool for those with hearing problems.
