Which pc games are rich in story and good graphics?

i need some reccomendations because i want to buy some games but dont know which are awesome.

What exactly do you mean by "rich in story"?

Of those that I've already played...

There's "Batman Arkham Asylum" (and the other two probably too). There's "Bastion". There's "Psychonauts". There's "Thomas Was Alone". There's "Dust: An Elysian Tail". There's "Darksiders" (although that's still in progress; I had problems with the controls), Etc. etc. etc...

Besides, in one way or another, most games tell a story. "The Swapper" seems to tell a story, although it's still in progress. Tomb Raider Anniversary told a story, and I'm playing Underworld now. Trine told a story. Prince of Persia told a story. Deathspank told a story. Etc. etc. etc.

is ac4 good? never played it before only played 1 brotherhood and 3

AC4 Black Flag is great and has good graphics. The story is ok, but not that indepth.

Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition is an awesome RPG with great stories. Graphics are older, but game play makes up for that.

The Telltale Walking Dead games have great Story and good graphics if you like the style. If you like VN's (Visual Novels) I'd recommed Planetarian

The new Alien: Isolation game has really good graphics and a lot of story layered into it. The story itself isn't remarkable overall but the setting and vibe is extremely interesting. It is a lot of fun. Can be difficult at times if you aren't good with stealth.

So you've predominantly played (on Steam at least) shooters, and hack n slash. Elder Scrolls Oblivion is an obvious choice if you enjoyed Skyrim, so too might you enjoy Dragon Age Origins; there are mods for both of these that improve the graphic fidelity somewhat. Then of course there is the Mass Effect series.

I would say Batman Arkham city, and Origins has a Great storyline! Metro 2033 and Metro last light as well. Those are just a few of my favirots.

By graphics do you mean visuals or do you mean fidelity?

Half Life 2
Alan Wake
Darksiders 2
Portal 2

Half Life 2 - Best game I've ever played all around

Darksiders 2 - The game that tied with Half Life 2 for best game I've ever played, also best looking game I've ever played

Alan Wake - Great looking game with a really interesting story and unique gameplay

Portal 2 - Great story, decent graphics, great gameplay

For Darksiders 2, you'll want to install SweetFX and turn on LumaSharpen. Then you'll want to set the sharpening amount to either 0.70 or 0.80. I also recommend turning on SMAA and turning on Contrast Curves with USE_CURVES 1 and setting the mode to 2 and the amount to 0.40.
