Anyway to tell the value of a game to sell to Gamestop?
the title may not explain itself so well, but I have a few games and I'd like to trade them in to Gamestop, that is, sell them. I wanted to know how I can tell I'm not being ripped off, Gamestop referred me to there site where they say Pokemon white 2 is worth $14.00 in trade value, its original value is $19.00. So I assume that means Gamestop is going to buy it off of me for $14 and sell it for $19 BUT this isn't the case for me it seems.

I did once bring in another pokemon game, pokemone white 2, my brothers, he didn't want it and wanted to sell it for some cash so I gave it to gamestop, you know what he got? $2 bucks. Is the site legitimate, or do I need to argue the value of the game with them and show evidince based on their site?

This isn't the first time I've felt ripped off, I should them a wii for roughly $20
and a few games for about $2 $3 each.

There used to be a site that showed how much you get from trading in a game. It was Cheap Ass Gamer I think.

Also, never trade any games in. It just isn't worth the money you get back. You spent twice as much as what you got for it. I would just let most of my games collect dust or try selling them on Ebay before I even think about using some "trade in" services

Offered them Okami (when I finished it)

They offered a dollar.

I said "♥♥♥♥ this" and left.
Divide the price of the game by 99% and that's how much you get from selling a game.

Look at what I litterally just said, and that's the amount people will get. XD

It's infinitely more worth it to sell on a classified site like Craigslist or Kijiji. GS is a total ripoff, at least with selling it to a private party you will get what it is worth as a used game.

I put up something on Craigslist a few weeks ago, and for quite a low price. But nobody responded, so I figured the site was dying off since its older days. I'd like to make some money off of my used games but selling online isn't exactly something I'm capable of doing at the moment, for reasons of dept. It'd be better to get actual cash money vs credit, so that's why I'm usually left with no choice but to go into gamestop. :/

I'd actually reccommend just keeping your games. I wish I had done that with all of my PS2 games, but I ended up seling them when my PS2 finally broke down. I think I got, llike, 13 dollars for 10 games. It's just not worth it at all. Keep them for collection sake and on the the offchance that you want to play them again. I know I would love to play The Godfather on PS2 again.

I'm wanting to part with some wii games since I sold them my wii for $20 obviously a better price then the guy above me got. But at the time I didn't really care. I've switched to computer gaming, steam games. I no longer have ANY console, just a nintendo 3Ds. Im perfectly satisfied with my gaming on the computer, that's why I felt like getting rid of some games just collecting dust. But Gamestop, doesn't offer fair prices for my games, so I thought I'd ask here, and from the looks of it, I'm not alone.

Good too see its not only me who's being ripped off, or should I say, bad to see?
anyway, I think I'll just go ahead and hand over the game as I'm just short $10 for some steam funds, that's my point in selling these games, is to add funds to my account to buy more games.
