Metal=/=Screamo

Screamo just sounds like noise. How can it be considered any genre of metal when its just a guy with a deep voice bleeding out his lungs saying unrecognizable words. I dont know any screamo bands by heart but some idiot on spotify keeps sharing screamo. God dangit taste makers.

Who likes "screamo" and why do you like it?

Easy way to know if some band is screamo: they scream (no, uh?) but the ambient and instruments don't sound heavy or oppressive, instead they sound more... melodic? Idk, just listen their instruments and later the vocalist tend to scream but his voice is more like he's 15 years old or something. xD
And the easiest way: Look images, they tend to look emo.

My brother was listening some emo some weeks ago and I said "wait, that's emo, isn't it?" and my father said "why, it doesn't seem emo? they're screaming?". Hah, later I searched on LastFM and they were.

It's easy to know, and it doesn't sound like metal. Even they don't usually sound like metalcore.

I listen to every genre of metal in some way, whether it be melodic death metal to power metal. Although screamo is actually closer to rock. Either way I don't really think it's possible for an entire genre to be horrible, unless it's something not to be taken seriously like chipmunk.
