How to end a frozen game's task with Task Manager when you can't access it

NOTE: This is for those who do not know this trick.

Do you hate it when your game freezes, and you can't access Task Manager to close it because the game is blocking it?, well here is the perfect solution if you have that problem and can't fix it, you can finally stop using the Windows+Profile+Sign off trick.

1. When your game freezes, press Ctrl+Alt+Del and select "Task Manager"
2. Once Task Manager is opened up, right click on Task Manager's tray icon located at the right of the taskbar.
3. Click the option "Always on top"
4. Task Manager will be accessible and you are able to close your game

You can add that you should use the kill the process than trying to close the "non reponding program" in task manager. It seems to have a fit (source games sometimes do that) but just using the process tab makes it easier.

if the game is blocking it after you've gotten task manager up, you could just alt tab and bring it to the front.

What do you mean by "kill the process"?

I have a shortcut to a command C:\Windows\System32\taskkill.exe /f /fi "status eq not responding"

you could even setup a hotkey

some games frezee so hard they won't even let you alt tab,

Using Half Life 2 as example:

Press ctrl alt f1, login to the command prompt.

Run command:

killall hl2_linux -9

Run command: logout

Press ctrl alt f7, your back at your desktop and game is gone :-)

Or if you've been in the computer game for a long time, you just know all the options of Task Manager by memory and you can just use the keyboard to close a process.
