i think it detects your location when you create an account
Oh nvm then, because on Playstation 3 or 4 you can select what region you are in then it loads the PSN store for that region, so im able to view the playstation store for Europe. Figured you could somehow select what region you are in for steam too
yee haw
~i've heard some people say even with the higher priced games it can still work out about the same for you all because now you don't have to pay some kinda.. conversion fee or somethin? Not sure... how they worded it. Do a search on the forum for other people complaining about the Canadian Dollar change (there's a huuuge thread around here somewhere).
all they care about is making money and Valve is no different
However it's becoming clear this is actually a very bad change and screws us over, because they are selectively blocking us from buying certain games in Canada now. I don't entirely understand this as it will mean lost sales for them, seems like everyone is losing.
An example is Singularity, which I only noticed because it was listed as a game I might be interested in on the storefront; but there's no price and we can't purchase it.
