I consider myself a console gamer first. Like I mentioned in the OP, I dont feel much difference between 30 or 60 unless the gameplay is really fast paced. Of course, that means that more passive games make little to no difference to me on either platform.
Still begging Platinum Games to port more of their awesome titles though.
Katamari series - Any of them, they're fun as hell.
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection - Because it's Metal Gear.
Little Big Planet - Steam workshop!!!
Shadow Of The Colossus - Deserves to be played by everyone at least once.
Vanquish - Insane, underrated Japanese shooter.
Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 - Basically Indiana Jones the game.
Ratchet and Clank series - There are hardly any good 3D platformers on PC.
More Sega Dreamcast games like Shenmue and Powerstone.
Jet Set Radio Future
I agree with you on Shadow Of The Colossus. Not just because it's fun in its own right, but because Team Ico's games are definitely worth examining if anyone becomes a game designer and wants to take a page from their minimalism. I felt that Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons partially derives Ico's style, or at least shares its influences.
It does not look very good, Victorian-era setting is cool and all, but Steampunk is just an excuse for them to put automatic weapons in.
Yeah.
It also looks like it'll just be a normal third-person cover shooter.
I have a thing for third person shooters, so I don't mind. As long as it is neat to look at like Lost Planet 2 or Uncharted.
