Console games that should be on PC?

It may be natural to say "every game", but think about what games would REALLY be right at home with PC. What non-PC game do you think would be fitting just for PC rather than not make much of a difference outside of graphical specs? Remember, whatever suggestions you make, you have to pick a game that was never released on PC and discuss why it would work best there.

Personally, I say Vanquish would make a great PC game. For the uninitiated, its a third person shooter by Platinum Games, directed by Shinji Mikami. Its so detailed and explosive, yet always ran a perfectly consistent 30fps. Vanquish was like a mix of bullet hell shmups and Gears Of War with the stylish energy of Bayonetta. If it were on PC, the fast paced action would make a bigger difference in 60+fps than most other games. Most other games I don't feel much of a difference with 30 vs 60fps, but none of them were as hyperactively fast paced than Vanquish. Besides, its a sci-fi shooter, I'm sure it would be popular with keyboard & mouse users.

Kinda always wanted Kingdom hearts to go on pc so i can actually play it for once.
And several mario games.
Yet to tell the truth, a lot of mario games i just played using emulators such as Dolphin emulator ( for wii and gamecube and many ...etc )

The entire series can benefit from being on PC, or at least having mouse and keyboard support. Certain strategies and powers are difficult as they require using the right analog stick and face buttons.

One strategy in particular is in Second Son. It involves several upgrades for the neon power set. One slows down time when aiming. Another recharges your slow down meter when you dash. And the last one lets you take out enemies with usually a single shot to either the head or feet. This lets me take an enemy or two out while in slow mo, run around to recharge, get a few shots in from behind and repeat.

The problem is that I need to manage the camera while dashing, otherwise I'll have to waste time turning towards them, which is especially bad when since the camera moves too slowly for my tastes, even at the highest setting. So I have to awkwardly hold the controller so I can shot, control the camera, and dash at the same time.

Edit: also so the ones on PS3 aren't locked at 30fps.

You guys worry too much on the fact of keyboard and mouse and 30 fps lock...
Some just wants a game on pc to play it

Is that a problem?

I can put up with 30, but not having to is one of the perks of PC gaming.

Well yeah but you don't see Console gamers go like ( oh damn i hate this game because its 30fps capped ) because the build is different and unlike A pc they wouldnt be lagging
i mean if they are stuttering in 30 fps they'd all just stop using consoles.
I mean i honestly dont care for the Fps or the fact of having a keyboard and mouse, eventually i'd use a controller like i always do , i just want a game to be on pc so i can play it because i do not own any console

Red Dead Redemption, God of War, Uncharted, Gears of War, and the DBZ fighting games... preferably Infinite World.

every game Halo wars, generally you don't want to play an RTS with a gamepad.

A remake of this game á la Age of empires 2/mythology is probably the best way to bring a new Halo game to PC without "hampering" the sales of the poster child shooter of the Xbox.

Im still furious that The Flood isn't playable, so this hypothetical remake is the only posibility of a playable Flood.

Some already have PC ports, but they could do with a remaster as well as re-ported to PC: all the Halo games, the first four Silent Hill games, all the Metal Gear games, Soul Calibur games, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, the first Gears of War game, and Journey.

You misunderstand me. I don't hate games for running at 30fps, I simply prefer they run at 60fps instead. I'm certain most console gamers feel the same way.

There's a lot of Sony exclusives I'd like to play but can't and probably never will sinse I doubt I'll ever get a Play Station. Infamous, The Last of Us and Uncharted are all 3 good examples. I'd also like to see Destiny. I figure Destiny would have a lot longer life on the PC than the consoles sinse people are already complaining about boredom and constant grinding. PC gamers have been putting up with that stuff for decades so we're used to it.

I also played the new "Batmobile" game in an arcade/restaurant and that thing really needs to be ported to the home market.

#13
