silverback gorilla vs 12 bodybuilders
who wins?

edit: it's a fight to the death in a cage, no weapons, silverback is in his primes, as are the bodybuilders

Gorillas can hit 20-25 miles an hour, similar to a human, and I would suspect a similar endurance range to bodybuilder. Both are not known for endurance. just strenght.

Of course, I am not familiar with primate lactic acid build up, so this could be way off. I just assume similarity due to genus and ancestory.

I know bugger all about primate lactic acid build up and I'm going to say right now that I refuse to go read about it on Wikipedia. Nope. I'm taking a stand against proactive learning tonight and accepting that ignorance is bliss.

Why do you think I currently know anything about primate lactic acids? I am literally talking about goofy stuff, litstening to a history channel quality docu-series about the fallout universe, and geeking out as a top off by reading "The Cat who walks through Walls"

This is how I goof. I just know what lactic acids are.

i think a gorilla has waaay better stamina and endurance than any human tho, not just strength
So.. so does that mean we finally meet that the gorilla beats the bodybuilders? Did we finally reach an answer?
Dammit, was just about to say: This'll be solved when we figure out how selfless the humans can be...

well my opinion is not necesary correct but i really think the silverback wins easily. i've seen a lot of these threads over the year, it will never be settled until we get that reality show up and running.

Class post C4Warr10r, you wanted to get all in there and explore that didnt you.

Of course I did. What good are these brains if not for that? I'm fairly convinced it's a plan worth trying.

I owe you an apology, btw. For the Food Crud post. I unfairly picked on your view because it is a common view in order to illustrate a larger point. I mean no personal offense and should have included something to that effect but...well, you've seen how long my posts are already.

Hey, C4Warr10r, no apology required as apart from everyones entitled to express themselves, i think your a pretty cool character. In earnest my post was generic not to mention i put zero thought into it which did show dont you think ?

As for this thread like you i to would like the test the theory on whether or not accumulative mass can out do a single concentrated mass with a pounds per pressure per square inch that is staggering to say the least.
Wow, I just went to the food crud post C4Warr10r and its been closed by the mods. I read your post and cant see anything you said or others that warranted the action.

Maybe steams investors are food groups ?
I think the bodybuilders could overwelm a gorilla.
i think it is flashback friday today... or maybe advance halloween...or resurrection day...

I think it is time a gorilla beat 11 bodybuilders with another bodybuilder.
