Looking for incredibly difficult 2D platformers on Steam.
When I say "incredibly difficult," I mean incredibly difficult, but fair too. Something along the lines of Super Meat Boy (or Wings of Vi, but it's not like too many people played that one).

Considering my ridiculous standards of difficulty, I've been disappointed a few times. In particular, people comparing Ori and the Blind Forest to Dark Souls comes to mind.

Nintendo games are very hard. It's proven that modern day gamers can't handle games from the 80s. They gotta have GPS in the game you know? But it's just not that they need directions, it takes a lot of dexterity and quickness to play games like Ghouls n' Goblin and such.

Because no games today require quick reaction times, good hand-eye coordination, and dexterity, right?

Real helpful answer there, considering it's already been posted.

No because these games were not meant to be coin munchers and were instead developed with less experienced gamers in mind.

Since when is 'muncher' a curse word?

That's a swearword somehow.

Okay then.
Eryi's Action
Hallow Knight, but I imagine you already own it.
This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
