What's Your Scariest Real Life Paranormal Activity Moment?
I went upstairs looking for my phone, it was very late that night and as I opened the door to the bedroom, I turned on the light switch and right in front of the door we have a mirror and in the mirror reflection I'm very sure I saw a female in her teens, dressed in a white old fashioned dress, black hair, pale skin - basically your typical ghosts. I straight away looked behind me and there was nothing there, looked back in the mirror, nothing. Ran straight down stairs and woke up my fiancee, like the brave man I am.

We slept with all the lights on in the house that night, and a few nights after. That's really the only paranormal activity encounter we have had and that was a good four years ago.

What's yours?.

It's late at night here, so forgive me if I don't reply to your posts straight away, don't fancy reading ghost stories just before bedtime.

Interesting stuff you've bumped into. I'd be somewhat creeped out! Also, what ethnicity did the ghost girl look to you?

My family and I once had an elevator door open up when we were ghost hunting at my dad's building that he used to work at. It was in the middle of the night. We've slept in some hotels that were haunted, specifically the Queen Mary and Hotel Roosevelt in L.A. My brother put a recorder in the room at the Roosevelt while we went out and about. When we reviewed the tape, we heard laughter and chatting on it.

the place i used to live at when i was younger at night as i layed in bed it always felt like someone breathing on my neck and ear and if i didnt cover my neck i just to jump because if felt like something grabbed the side of my neck, ever since then ive had to sleep with a teddy on my neck or my duvet, even when i moved out of there its scared me for life,
I once had an out of body experience. It's hard to remember in detail but I DO remember getting in some form of fight. When I woke up in the morning, my leg was numb and I had a fresh cut on my left arm.

... The very injuries I recieved while I was dreaming. There was no evidence to show I hurt myself or was hurt by something else either. Spooky.

i did not know what happen for 3 days and a lot of people was afraid of me are said are you ok a lot because they said i was weird are i cut my self but there was no cut on me and the same thing happen to yesterday too
Everytime I go up the stairs.
I swear, something is ALWAYS behind me.
and something walks in my hall in my home, i thought i was crazy but my brothers hear it too
As a little kid, I was full of high spirit, hyper and joyful... always messing around, pretty much trying to get myself killed like a normal kid does. I've probably had 4-5 near death or major injured experiences in my childhood.

It was probably 8:30pm at night, just dark out. Hallway light on behind me. I was upstairs, spider monkey climbing up the walls for some fun. These wall where high for me, being a short kiddo at the time, around 3 times my height by the time on at the top. Plus I was right on the edge of the hallway, with the stairway in front of me.

Get to the top of the wall and slip right at the edge of the stairs. Sure thing is I was falling forward, over the edge of the first step... so on my way to crash down the stairs! It would of been a good one story and a half fall. Broken bones, if not death.

However a force pulled me back. I thought it was my dad at first. Grabbing by the scruff of the neck/shirt and yanking me back.

Looked around, no one there. I was paranoid for the rest of the night, wondering if it was some type of guardian angel or something. Never told my parents though, thinking I would just get in trouble at the time.
Haven't ever really had one.

Unless you count the one time when I was a child that I saw a fairy flying in the ceiling, I called it an angel, I remember going to my mom and telling her "Ma'ma, I saw an angel!"

Now I see many logical reasons behind seeing things and hearing things, top that off with my schizophrenia and I get a full dose of voices and creatures in the dark. Every. Single. Night.

I was visiting my grandparent's and staying in the guest bedroom. At night, I decided to go read a book on the bed and fell asleep reading. Some time later I "woke up" and couldn't move. I was completely frozen; however, I was able to move my eyes and I saw a dark figure standing next to the bed above me just looking down at me. This freaked me out but I closed my eyes and then actually woke up to find that nothing was there. Probably a minute later the TV in the room turns on and is just static. There was no way I could've accidentally turned the TV on as I didn't have the remote.

Might be able to explain your story. You woke up when you were... in a sense, still asleep.

Your body was paralyzed since it wasn't "awake" despite your conscious being so. Its an extremely rare occurance. But it can take ten minutes to half an hour before you gain control again, and in the meantime you get tortured by hallucinations and awkward sensations. (The kind when blood rushes to a limb that had been strangled/crushed for hours or when you just go plain numb.)

The television however... your guess. I can't think of any reason.

On a side note : thats some scary ♥♥♥♥! I had a relative that experienced it and they said it was a nightmare. :demoneye:
I remember one thing...and it never leaves/left my mind.

I was at some young age where my mother and I moved into a new house, I thought it might be nice but boy that experience was incredibly short-lived from what I can remember.
I remember going to bed, but I couldn't sleep for some reason, probably because of a knight statue my grandmother put in our bedroom for decoration. Now here's the thing before I continue on, this statue was hallow and had nothing in it. And when I tried to close my eyes, I heard metallic clanking from the corner, when I opened my eyes I couldn't believe it. The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ knight statue was climing our wall to a small vent like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spiderman, and he turned his head to me and stayed on the wall. I desperately wanted to cry but I just held the covers over my head and waited for my mother to confront the hallow creepy statue, but she just sweared at it and ignored with no fear at all. To this day, I still question it.
When I was younger we use to always go up to Noth Carolina to visit my grandparents in their old house that was build by my great grandparents. Well one night while laying in bed ant approximately 4AM; I heard the sounds of dishes being put up and rattling round. I thought it was my grandmother so i got up to go see. Well as i turned the corner to the kichen there was nothing. I know what i heard that night and i never heard that before out of all the years i been there. I Told my mother and she just stated. " it's your great grandmother" -_-

the other thing was when I was much younger and could have just been my little mind screwing with me. But to this day i remember it cause it seemed so real. I was laying in my bed trying to sleep. I remember looking at the wall and then out of nowhere red eyes just showed up. No body just red glowing eyes. needless to say after that, i went to sleep in my parents room. They made me a blow up bed next to theirs. And as i was laying there still freaked out just looking out the door into the living room it happened again. after that i just pulled the covers over my head until i went to sleep.

We moved out of that few years later. But that was the only time i ever seen that being there. No idea if it was my mind ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with me.

But then again.. What if what see as children is more real then we think? Then as we get older, we just stop accepting what we see or hear.

I have never experienced anything else in my adulthood.

Now I'm not super religious or anything but neither are my parents. But to this day my mother will swear she seen the devil at the foot of her bed looking into the baby crib. was my brotherrs crib when we was a babie ( i was not born it) my older brother has always beeb trouble though. But my mother discribes the man as being very hansom and not what would have exspected.

Do i belive my motheres story? eh hard to say. She is never one to lie and she gets freaked out talking about it. It's odd but our minds so crazy things.

Is ther life after death? probably. Is there a heaven or hell? who truly knows.
Reading other comments here reminded me of a few things i did not mention cause i dont thing its paranormal personally.

I have also woken up frozen in the night unable to move and feels like its hard to breath. This use to happen almost weekly. I never seen any figures or anything. But I found when you wake up frozen, just close your eyes and go back to sleep LOL.

I have also took control of my own dreams but only one time in my life sadly. But also sadly it freaked me out so much cause i thought i was trapped in my dreams that it was not very fun. wish I could do it again, but idk how. I hear you can control your dreams but takes pratice idk.

That's some interesting stuff. That was the only time it's ever happened but it was scary to be paralyzed but still be awake.

Yeah I read it has something to do with your body not being awake it lol. Just do like i do and go back to sleep lol
I've found dead dogs in the woods. House I live in is also super old, and we've heard footsteps in the house when we're alone (not just creeks), doors slamming and humming noises. Not seen any spooky scary skellingtums pop out though.
I was doing the dishes in my very old house, and me and my family have suspected we've had a ghost for some time, and named him(it? her?) Jimmy. The ghost didn't do much, maybe randomly turned on a heater or something, but one time i SWORE I heard someone calling my name right behind my back, almost touching my ear,I got freaked out,and I ran out of the room, closing the door behind me.

ALso,there's this field near my house where a horse or two grazes, and every night, whenever I'm taking my dog out,I hear a bloodcurdling scream (note:this only happens very late at night,1:00 A.M or later),and whenever that happens, even when it doesn't,my dog ALWAYS looks toward that general direction where the scream is coming from,in kind of a "BACK OFF!" look
