What's Your Scariest Real Life Paranormal Activity Moment?

I went upstairs looking for my phone, it was very late that night and as I opened the door to the bedroom, I turned on the light switch and right in front of the door we have a mirror and in the mirror reflection I'm very sure I saw a female in her teens, dressed in a white old fashioned dress, black hair, pale skin - basically your typical ghosts. I straight away looked behind me and there was nothing there, looked back in the mirror, nothing. Ran straight down stairs and woke up my fiancee, like the brave man I am.

We slept with all the lights on in the house that night, and a few nights after. That's really the only paranormal activity encounter we have had and that was a good four years ago.

It's late at night here, so forgive me if I don't reply to your posts straight away, don't fancy reading ghost stories just before bedtime.

As soon I see the creature, I go into 'fight or flight' mode and try to wake up, but can't. I can see light in the room through my eyelids but I can't open them !

This goes on for about only 15-20 seconds, and then I can wake up.

The theory is, these are very 'high-tech' abductions -- only they don't take your physical body, just your 'astral' body.

This creature was once reported by someone else on Coast to Coast AM, and they even provided an illustration (same, including the glowing red eyes). I still have that illustration for reference. In fact, I would REALLY like to talk to that person and compare notes to corroborate the details.

As I said, that was but one incident of a number I had while living in Asia.

There was another that was a bit more "technological", which I can't go into right now, but, suffice it say, definitely would have freaked the average person out (I'm talking something that came less than an arms length away from me while I DEFINITELY WAS awake...).

My sister encounted the "shadow man" too but he didnt have red eyes, or at least she didnt say anything about it.

Well, I think it is safe to say that whatever it is, it must not mean to do harm. As I stated in my post, these are probably VERY high-tech types of abductions, where they take your astral body (which apparently is vulnerable when you are asleep) and they study it, catalogue it,... whatever.

I have not experienced a physical abduction, myself. Only the kind I have described.

And several times, too (but some were when I was much younger and so I just wrote those off as nightmares that kids 'normally' get...).

There is a LOT more I can share, but some of it is rather theoretical and technical about what is going on with these phenomena. Suffice it to say (and I know some of you will roll your eyes at this...) these creatures MAY have the ability to alter TIME, thus giving the appearance of just a momentary nightmare to you, but in fact are abducting your astral body for a while to study it.

For those not familiar with the concept of an astral body, it is basically the part of you that is immortal. It's your spirit that lives on after you die. We are all immortal spirits having a mortal experience called Life. So, our astral bodies (theoretically) may contain the link to our 'history' of past lives, and maybe these creatures want to 'read' that...

Again, just a theory.

Well, I have studied enough paranormal phenomena to allow me conclude that there is a LOT more to what's going on here on Earth than what we've been told.

We've been brain-washed with different religions and told that "that's it and there's nothing more. So, don't think for yourself" type of crap. But, in actuality, something VERY different is going on.

Instead of pointing you to some 'scary' ghost videos, I recommend watching this excellent and now famous BBC (Channel 4) documentary:
