What's Your Scariest Real Life Paranormal Activity Moment?

I went upstairs looking for my phone, it was very late that night and as I opened the door to the bedroom, I turned on the light switch and right in front of the door we have a mirror and in the mirror reflection I'm very sure I saw a female in her teens, dressed in a white old fashioned dress, black hair, pale skin - basically your typical ghosts. I straight away looked behind me and there was nothing there, looked back in the mirror, nothing. Ran straight down stairs and woke up my fiancee, like the brave man I am.

We slept with all the lights on in the house that night, and a few nights after. That's really the only paranormal activity encounter we have had and that was a good four years ago.

It's late at night here, so forgive me if I don't reply to your posts straight away, don't fancy reading ghost stories just before bedtime.

Even crazier, I convinced my nightmares to off and it actually worked. All I needed to say was : "This is my world. My mind created you and I have full right to destroy you as well."

Now I don't see any of them anymore. Score one for the cliché sentences.

the coathanger that lives above my radiator was dancing for a while, could have been a ghost,could have been warm air flow,but probaly it was down to the amount of acid and mushrooms l ate in my younger daze,my girlfriend couldnt see it moving,so lm guessing at flashbacks

My family and I once had an elevator door open up when we were ghost hunting at my dad's building that he used to work at. It was in the middle of the night. We've slept in some hotels that were haunted, specifically the Queen Mary and Hotel Roosevelt in L.A. My brother put a recorder in the room at the Roosevelt while we went out and about. When we reviewed the tape, we heard laughter and chatting on it.

Sorry for the late reply. I'm really not sure, but I think she was white. I just opened the door and there she was in the reflection of mirror, I quickly turned around and she was gone.

I might try and brave it and put a few cameras on record to see if I can capture anything interesting, but this incident was a few years ago and nothing paranormal has happened as of yet.

when i was younger i was lying in my bed, i had my lights on (cuz lazy) and i had my eyes closed and when i opened them I saw a person in white standing right in front of my bed. I blinked and it was gone.
I dont remember if I saw that person in anything or anywhere, or it just my mind made that up. but it crept me out.

One time, I went to let my cat in through the front door, cause she had been scratching at the window (which is what she does when she wants in) but she never came in. When I turned around, she was stitting on the living room sofa, like she'd been there the whole time.

I looked across the street and some kids were running away.

Anyways there's a corner in my room that for some reason is freaky, and I had a dream where this weird blur sort of ball that was opaque aswell was there, and when I looked at it, it threw me against my door, and I had trouble breathing. I woke up shaking uncontrolabley.

Also we have normal stuff like foot steps, bumpings, glasses shatering, and being pushed.
Oh and doors lock randomly too.

I had a horrible nightmare last night, but that is a story for another thread.

Reading other comments here reminded me of a few things i did not mention cause i dont thing its paranormal personally.


I have also woken up frozen in the night unable to move and feels like its hard to breath. This use to happen almost weekly. I never seen any figures or anything. But I found when you wake up frozen, just close your eyes and go back to sleep LOL.

The secret is to be aware that you are dreaming, if you know you are dreaming you can easily control your dreams by simply wanting them to change. When your wanting to change/control your dreams you cant just wish for them to chage its more like you have to convince yourself that you can control them, you have to know you have the power over your own mind and can contrl your own dreams. Its that simple, however if you cant seem to remember all this in your dream its unlikly you will be able to control them.I have been a long time lucid dreamer, able to control my dreams. My dream world for me is like a virtual reality.
