Console Games cost more than PC Digital download?
Currently i am on being haunted for buying VITA and the only reason were jrpg but since its too much and only a few US/EU games were availble.
Also the console didnt cost alot but instead the game is the one who cost arms an legs.
I was recently checking This games :
Borderlands 2 Vita : about 30 bucks which is wtf.
Hyperdimension re;1 : 40 USD and tell me how much it cost on steam?
God Eater 2 : Ranging 60 USD ~ 100 exclusive/limited. I meant seriously? grind alot and get bored?
And more but the price never go below 20$ USD.
Also note that PS4 and Xbox1 games cost the same. It almost like getting 3-5 games each year.

Was it just me or Steam always cheaper than consoles?
Well i agree xbox1 and ps4 consoles cost less than standard pc gaming. (mine was 600$ and i bought it 2 years ago and most of games were playable 30-60 fps.
But again having pc means you almost can play anything and do what consoles cant do.

WTFman....

Also exclusive games on consoles which always piss the pc only gamer.

With digital PC games you're not paying for physical goods, which always cost more to manufacture. Also in some cases they're coming to PC later than their initial release.

I don't know Borderlands 2 or God Eater 2, but I do know off the top of my head that Hyperdimension Neptunia's base price on Steam is $30.

Do note that in a few cases companies have opted to sell digital copies at the same price as physical copies, so as to not undercut their physical sales. I've heard that on release Skyrim was $60 both ways.

so are you saying physical goods wasnt really worth?
but not all games sold in psn store.

yes borderlands 2 on vita is rlly bad
GE:2 is still new and Rage burst isnt out yet. both cost 60$ and theres a better game like FFXV that coming out soon.
"Worth" is determined by the consumer.

Some people feel that having physical media, manuals, boxes, feelies, etc. is a thing they're willing to pay for. Others feel they just want the game data.

Even today there are still some people who are willing to pay for physical releases.

Different consumers have different preferences, on pretty much anything.

There's a trade off to console physical copies versus pc digital downloads. You can trade in or sale your physical consoloe game, but you are kinda stuck with pc download
