The Godfather™ II glitch! Help!
I know The Godfather™ II is not on steam but I couldn't find how to solve this anywhere on the web, not even on gamefaqs, absolutely nowhere!
I bought it from a local gameshop in Romania, for like 6 euros (The gameshop is named Altex, is the most legit gameshop and electroniqs shop in Romania, and the best one). I enjoy the game very much, even if it feels unfinished.

The problem is that I observed there is no day/night cycle in my game! It is always night. I watched tons of gameplays on YouTube and everybody is able to see the day, everybody but me. I finished the 1st chapter and still only night. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I deleted and made like 6 different profiles, and on 3 of them I even finished chapter 1. STILL ONLY NIGHT! What to do?! Is there some file in the The Godfather™ II folder I am missing?

first right click on properties of shortcut or the mainfile next check run in 256 colors, disable visual themes, and disable display scaleing on high dpi settings then run if it still crashes check run in 640x480 screen resolution this works for many old games like the GodFather 2

I dont know if you still want to play it but ive found a fix that works for me klick on the game icon go to properties and change the compatibility mode to windows xp service pack 3 if that doesnt work for you you can try some of the other compatibility modes you can check if it works by looking at the shadows if they move it works good luck
