Do you play multiple games at the same time?
I find myself playing 7 different games on and off right now. Several of them as campaigns and some as multiplayer games. I was just wondering how many of you play several games at the same time like I do, and how many are you currently playing, or do you focus entirely on one game at a time until you complete it? Just curious.

Lots of different games.

At the moment, I'm starting Assassin's Creed Revelations, I'm almost halfway through BioShock, I'm almost done with Story Mode of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. That's only PC though.

I'm currently playing Fire Emblem Awakening for 3ds, same for Kid Icarus: Uprising.

So, I have 5 games total that I play, on and off. There are more, but those I barely play.

I have so many that I've half-finished or almost finished that by the time I go back to continue them, I've long forgotten what I was doing and what I'm suppose to do next. I'm trying to stick to just a few now, but it's tricky owning so many games that I want to play.

I blame the steam sales. It's one of the reasons I play so many simultaneously. I play as much as possible and beat them as fast as I can because I know I'm going to be suckered into another damn sale by the time I'm done with my games.

Most definitely! I love playing a variety. If I spent all my time in one game I would be so burnt out Id not enjoy it. I play DayZ once or twice a week for an hour or two. I'm playing Skyrim again now and stop after a dungeon, or making it to a quest point so I'm prepared for the next time, and I'm playing a bit of Outlast for the first time here and there but I get scared and have to stop after about 20 min each play through. Wasteland 2 is fun and I play it a bit in the afternoons when I don't need 100% focus, because its turn based. Its a good game to play when Im studying, hah. At night late I play EVE and do a bit of relic exploration because its my "main game" but I got tired of living in Null playing the F1 monkey. I think I am going to buy Retrovirus and break out the flight stick tonight though. First I'm going to try this new 404 game. Oh wait.. what is that sale going on!? Heh heh.

How big is YOUR wishlist? :)

Sometimes. I'll mostly focus on a SP game one at a time though. Though i do some other games inbetween, i don't "focus" on them.

Yes for sure. With the release of new games piling on to other ones I am constantly switching. Of the top of my head I have been playing 2 total war games recently, Dragon ball Xenoverse, Mortal Kombat X, Halo master chief collection, and borderlands handsome collection, Dayz too but I honestly dont know why. with several others in reserve.

Having university and work really eats into free time

sorry, no-can-do
The games I play require constant attention. If I switch from something to another, not only will this laptop of mine go haywire in terms of framerates, but I also risk getting my sorry behind kicked in-game

I do that with books.

I do play multiple games at the same time, because it depends on my mood what I want to play. There are also times where I get so much addicted to a game that I only play that game for ages. But that is not happening often.
At this moment I play The Walking Dead, Don't Starve and Bridge Constructor Medieval for example.

Going through: Skyrim and Shadow Warrior on PC.
Playing through Fire Emblem: Awakening
Thinking about playing through: Growlanser 6 and Persona 3: FES on PS3
Finish up Super Robot Taisen Z and Super Robot Taisen Original Generations on PS2.

So yeah, I play multiple games at a time, because I have so many and play so few.

I can't stick to one game at a time. I have the attention span of a squirrel. I usually have around 3 in rotation....right now it is Pillars of Eternity, Wasteland 2 and Divinity OS. XCOM is also on there.

  • Zelda: A Link to the Past

Just to name a few

Haven't focused on a single game since FFXII couple of years ago

I tend to play numerous games at once, yes.

There are times when I focus on ONE game only, though. For example, Deus Ex Human Revolution had my attention for a couple weeks.
