Oh, forgive me, then. I assumed it was a request to Valve.
You just necro'd a thread from April.
Onto the topic itself there's probably many copies of SCP:CB floating around being carried by everybody so it would be pointless to put it on steam, as everyone already has the game.
Unless the devs decide to remaster almost everything in the game (very hard, but still possible) and sell that version of the game, while at the same time keeping the old version (aka the one everyone has) and use that as a "demo" of sorts.
On terms of updates the devs would release a full-on update to the full version that you need to buy, while simutaneously releasing a much smaller update for the version that's out currently (the one on their website) that includes things like bug fixes, and maybe a few new items.
I do like the idea of that though, but it would be kinda weird to see myself snap my neck.
