I advoid Hornets and wasps like the plague. Never been stung by one though.

I have an airsoft gun for when the crickets show up in my house in the fall. A .40 S&W seems like overkill.

Heights. I'm terrified I'll look down and my glasses will fall off. Or I'll look down and gravity will jump up and yank me right over the edge. Or my palms will be so sweaty that I won't be able to grab hold of anything and I'll slide over the edge. I can't even look at pics like this without my stomach getting all queasy:
