Ya ESO was terrible ♥♥♥♥♥ when it wasn't Unlimited, but from what I've been reading the people who hated it before Unlimited, love it now which is why I wanted to get some opinoins. Plus I really enjoy Elder Scroll Combat style
Ah OK. I will check back later....who knows? Maybe I will hear enough to make me interested in it. I have just never been into MMO's though.
ESO is a terrible game and an even worse MMO. Unless all your friends are really into ESO, for some reason and you want to play with them, there is virtually no reason why you'd want to pick ESO... ever.
Have you played ESO Unlimited?
ESO isnt subscription anymore so maybe that would be better.
Personally Id advise your better off waiting for ES:6 or something els. Maybe look at Witcher 3.
ES:6 is lik YEARS away.....and im not a fan of witcher
I played it when it released and it told me all i ever need to know. There is no chance in hell they redesigned the entire game from ground up.
Witcher was an example of a game with better combat system and arguably better story.
Idk about ESO. I dont support good single player games going MMO because the concepts regaurding almsot everything an MMO has to do to be workable ruin the single player game its based off. TES never has had great controls or responcive combat, making it an MMO is the oposit of helping.
Aside from ESO not being cannon or whatever I cannot speak to its content. I am aware that dispite its subscription there were +premium versions of the game and full cost DLCs within a month of release.
DragonAge:I is probly one of the worst games I have ever played. I laughed when I saw this thread, I thoought you must be joking. I wont say ESO is bad outwrite but DA:I is a whole different story.
Everything good about this game is hidden under mountains of crap. Look up some of the less fanboy reviews. People who point out whats good and whats bad. People who bother to spend the 100hours boasted and come out of it underwhelmed.
Its boring, full of micromanaging crap, the base story is cliche and uses recycled people places. The main villian is a character nobody even remembers from a DA:2 DLC.
DragonAge:I had amazing concepts and tried a lot of new things. The problem is that they appear to have done all these things like those people who change jobs every week. They started everything but finished nothing. The strategy aspect is academic nonsense besides the widely recognised complete failure when it comes to the actually controls of it.
-The combat was clearly designed to favor console gameplay, the PC controls are a cheap set of MMO style controls. Hold RM to look, TabTargetting etc etc.
-The characters are IMO GREAT! I love them. I love the ones I thought would be boring or crap, I h8 the ones I thought Id like and the whoel exp has been great. With that said, there involvment in the story nearly kills the point of there existance and the side stories start to get good then... there over. -_-
-Crafting is the core of gear in this game. Theres some good stuff to play with to be sure. Infnite looting of rocks in walls and cloth from fallen mobs never stops being the secondary focus of gameplay at all times. You will grind for everything, build crap then level up and scream at the screan when it gives you a blueprint for the next rier grind crap. With no NG+ theres hardly a point in maxing gear anyway. They boast 'post game content' but any true gamer knows thats a coppout.

I know thats a lot of text but Im not even getting started. For more info look up soem reviews.
If you only looking at those two games then I would advise you go with ESO. No matter how crap something is, doing it with friends always has value.
DA:I is a very shiny shallow piece of work. After taking a step back and looking at it well, it seems like a test for the new engine and a dumping zone for lore and plots they never used.
-I simply pointed out the Witcher as an example of 'other good games'. Suggesting you may want to look elswear.
Thats mostly all jsut IMO so take it as you will. Hope it helps.
