As far as i am aware and if you are above the age of 21, you can own any knife you want in Sweden, you are just not allowed to carry it in public urban places.

Why you would want a M9 Bayonet is beyond me, though. There are better knives on the market, for about the same price and length.

Edit:
Unless you plan to strap it beneath your Rifle, there are better large belt knives for outdoor activities (Ontario Afghan, Böker Rold, Kershaw also has a few nice large knives just to name a few), and if you just want a big knife, i'd actually look at someone like Coldsteel and buy a proper dagger or a large bowie / kukri knife.

Why don't you look at your weapon laws? Here: https://lagen.nu/1988:254

As i said.. as far as i am aware, when you are above the age of 21, then you can own, but not carry, any knife you want. Knifes that are clearly meant for 'killing' purposes, are restricted to be age 21 and above.

And to quote Wikipedia on it (just checked it for the link to the knife law):

"Swedish law prohibits the carrying of knives in public areas, including schools and vehicles at these areas, if the carrier has no legitimate purpose. Examples of legitimate purposes include carpet layers carrying their knife to and from work, soldiers in uniform carrying a knife or normal use of a pocket knife. The same law also regulates some other objects that are made to thrust, cut, or that are otherwise intended for crime against life and health. Furthermore, objects that are "particularly" intended for crime against life and health, such as switchblades, shurikens and brass knuckles, are not permitted to be given or sold to anyone under the age of 21. Carrying a weapon for self-defence does not count as a legitimate purpose."

America has got to have the loosest knife laws.

Pretty sure cutleryreview guy lives in the US and that guy finds the craziest of tools.

Maybe in Texas. My place doesn't even allow switchblades.

Do you live in Chicago?

Georgia allows the ownership of any kind of knife you want. If you wish to carry a knife over 5" in length, you need a permit though.

I have an M7 bayonet as well as a Buck 110 (every day carry).
