Those of you who don't support the PC Master Race, why?
Just curious.

This goes along with what I posted earlier.

Console gaming has become more like PC gaming no matter how one looks at it. This is straight from a developer. A mouse and keyboard is a controller just like the hand held controllers used on consoles, which can be used on a PC nowadays, but with more keys or buttons and without the need to hold your hands so close together.

Now, if gamers want consoles to be plug and play again, then they need to implore developers to stop issuing patches that have to be downloaded and installed to the consoles HDD. Get console makers to stop using HDDs and get developers to only put games on disks so they only run from the disk, otherwise, the lines between console and PC gaming will get blurred even further.

True...but I think that is more of a cosequence of games being more complex to code with today's complex 3d engines more than anything. Graphics are starting to get in the way, so to speak. Not that having great graphics is a bad thing...it just adds such a heavier financial and developmental weight to development that it is going to have its own consequences. So console people are going to see that just like PC people will.
PC games have always had a graphical consequence. Don't forget that PC games were HD long before console games were. Even though a couple of games for the PS2 were able to output up to 1080i, most still used a 480i (or P resolution), that is typical of SDTVs and that was up til 2013 even though by then, many people owned HDTVs.

Graphics are a big part of games and where most of a game's size comes from, especially nowadays with resolutions that are starting to push 4K. Developers are smart to include resolutions for upcoming hardware even if they are not as prevalent as many currently used ones today. It will only get worse, for both sides of the coin.

I wonder, what about PC is less fun?

The controls, the community, etc.

You can use a controller, if that's your problem.

As for community, there are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and nice people on both sides. Maybe you've just run into more of the former.

Wrong, its level data and pre rendered cutscenes that take up all the data, even a raw uncompressed 4K texture is less then 6 MB.

The ease of use you get (or should I say used to get) with consoles has gone out the window for me, at least on the Xbox One. You buy a physical game and have to install that game, and in some cases have a patch to install.

When I brought my Xbox One, I had to wait a good few hours before I could play my games because I had to update the console and controller. Then I had to install BF4, Titanfall and Forza 5. I have lost count of the amount of times I have had to hard restart my Xbox One.

I'm not saying a console is as much work as a PC, but PC's are becoming more user friendly and consoles are becoming more PC like.

The only advantage consoles had to PC's was the fact that you could trade in a game and get a used one cheaper. So if you bought a game and it turned out crappy, you could take it back for store credit and use it to buy something else. With a PC, you couldn't do that. If you bought a PC game and it turned out crappy, you were stuck with it.

Now that the ability to trade in used console games is gone, there is really no point in owning a console. All you are getting with a console is a brick where you manhandled into buying micro-tranactions and DLC's so you can experience the whole game. If you don't buy into that crap...congradulations, you are stuck behind disk locked content.

I don't really like to take part in this war, I am rather forced to take the side of the consoles, given the fact that I am the only one of my friends who acctually likes Playstation. I don't take a side, but if I have to choose, I will pick Playstation. It's just about my childhood.

This is not a problem with Playstation tough, on Playstation you don't have to install the game unless you buy it online. So basically all you're mentioning here are typical Xbox problems, however you forgot to mention the fact that there is the same problem with PC as with Xbox, no matter if you buy a CD or buy the game online, you still have to install it on your PC. The updates aswell, are quite a problem with PC given the fact that the only reliable site for downloading of games is the one we are using right now, Steam, with constant updates that barely change anything. And that brings up another problem, with PC, if Steam is outdated, you can't use any of your games that you have installed with Steam, and lets be honest, that means every single game on your computer. However if your Playstation Store is outdated, you can still play all your Playstation games.

PC master race gamers are bunch of edgy teenagers who endlessly consumes and completely ignores others. "First world" syndrome just to speak.

PC "master race" gamers are very spoiled, went out to their way to ridicule others who's not as computer savvy or who simply don't have the financial capabilities to build or buy a computer.

PC master race gamers are ignorant;they think PC gaming is cheaper than console gaming...of course it might be true if you live in USA but for someone in South America it might as well cost 3x of a console.

PC master race gamers accept whatever thrown at them, if a game is broken they'll just move on and try to avoid these bugs, letting developers run over them without consequences.

PC master race gamers are competitive and elitists. If someone who actually has a job isn't good as the basement dwellers, they're a n00b. PC gamers also like to brag about their "wealth".

PCs are indeed superior, but the PC community in general is very toxic and needs to be re educated.

Not all PC gamers are like that, but I observe that most of them are.

I don't care where I'm playing video games.

As long as I can play them, that's what matters.

Gaming is gaming regardless what platform you're playing on.

Consoles are good for just casual games with mates and making big money on the Dev side.

PCs are good for gamers as they can play pretty much any genre or game past or present and added to that PC gamers get to experience the creativity of developers.

Of which has been lost on consoles in all exept the generally terrible "indie/arcade" games.

Yeah, I did correct myself sort off - "the ease of use you get (or should I say used to get) with consoles has gone out the window for me, at least on the Xbox One". I'm not up to date with the PlayStation 4 as the console doesn't interest me at all, but I think my comment still stands.

The PC has become a more user-friendly platform and I have experienced more issues on the consoles (Xbox 360, PS3 and Xbox One) than my PC. I'm not sure when was the last time you installed a game from Origin, uPlay or GOG.com, but I have yet to have any issues. I've been reading that PSN goes down for maintenance work often, or at least used to (during the PS4 generation as well).

Completely false. Every physical game I put in my PS4, without exception, needed to install at least somewhat before I could play it.

Cause Ill never support some kind of "master race" that remembers me the incest plague called Nazis.
