Banned from NexusMods

Hello, Steamers(?) This is LawyerAnt. I have had a NexusMods account for no more than four hours, and I am banned. You want to know why? "Multiple account abuse to bypass a ban that did not actually exist, then claiming to be the brother." (Grammatical and Punctuation edits made for illiterate staff) The NexusMods moderator team is notoriously trigger-happy and unforgiving, but this is ridiculous.

See, my half-brother's account was banned from chat. I had been using his account for about a year now to download mods, no biggie. He was already banned, so we just used the same account o download mods. No harm, no fowl. Occasionally on my phone I would google questions about my games, and the NexusMods forums would always be the first. The community seemed so nice and supportive. So I made my own account. I talked to some people. They seemed nice enough. Then we started talking about bans, and I brought up my half-brother. A short conversation took place, and I left to watch a movie. When I came back, I started joking around with some other users, all friendly of course, and was immediately banned. "The fact that you joined just after this, yet speak as if you are a regular and have have knowledge on mods here and how stuff works makes your claim seem complete and utter rubbish." I'm banned for having downloaded mods in the past and read through the rules thoroughly. I know how stuff works because I'm not an inconsiderate prick and read the rules. I have knowledge on mods because I was watching reviews since Youtube was a thing and downloading them for about a year now.

They blacklisted my IP address because of this. I can't even access the Nexus to download mods anymore. Neither can my brother. We're both banned, for good. This is bullsh*t. To any who are already a member of the Nexus, stay the hell away from Micalov. To any who plan to be, I would avoid the chat completely. You'll only get yourself banned. Somehow, they'll find a f*cking reason. You do realize Micalov's grounds for banning me was trying to bypass a ban that didn't exist, right? Why would anyone do that. It makes no sense.

Be warned, the NexusMods moderation team, specifically staff member Micalov, is mentally ill. But this is just my story. Are you banned? Were you banned for unfair reasons? Did they blacklist you just so you couldn't tell the community about this villainy? Come here, tell us your story. At the very least, vent some of your anger over it. I'm all ears.

What if you got banned from Steam, and were permanently unable to tell other members of Steam the BS reason for your removal? Steam is the most relevant site second to NexusMods itself, so....

I myself have never had any bad experiences with the Nexus moderators, but that's because I've never posted on the forums or been in the chat.

I've heard the moderators are just as you say: trigger happy and brutal. Also, the fact that they can ban you from the ENTIRE site is just stupid IMO.
