Practice makes perfect. I'm not all that good myself, but the more you play, the better you get.

"Balance" is part of the game design just like everything else; if a game fails to deliver in that area and won't let me progress no matter how often I try, I just consider it a bad game and move on.

Seretti is correct, with a bit of practice you'd be surprised what you can accomplish. Still, every person has their strengths and weaknesses. If you find puzzle games difficult, you might try an action game, or vice versa.

I usually suck at every new game I play, but as I play the game more and more I usually get better at it. There are times when I have watched tip videos on Youtube, and some of them can be very helpful. If you're playing a multiplayer game, try and get some friends to help you out. I play my best when I have friends on my team to back me up.

Yeah, play enough Farmville and your on your way to becoming MLG, your sure to be the best of them all!
Candy Crush. That game I see everyone playing, and not mentioning how much it's like a retextured bejeweled with pay to win features added in.
