that they are differnt?
Clearly, you do not understand what I was doing. I was not saying that you said it about yourself, I was using your words to describe your own actions. To get back to what zert said, "Why didn't you donate the money you bought your 3 games with to charity?"
You're doing a pretty good job of that yourself.
Yes, yes you are. You're putting them down for spending money on something that they gain entertainment from. That act itself is you judging them for what they find enjoyable, saying that they're "wasting money away with moronic things". How is your buying games any different? You have no right to judge how anyone else spends their money on entertainment.
If you weren't putting them down explain "I think it's plain dumb and childish about many things people do, INCLUDING subscribing and/or tipping/donation [BS] on Twitch· Why these guys don't buy some food for homeless people? Why these guys don't donate money for some meaningful project that does concrete actions to help the needy?
Besides that wasting money away with moronic things is dumb and childish, it's totally irresponsible"
You don't have to say it directly, people are capable of reading that in your derision and attitude toward other users here and in how you treat people who decide that they want to subscribe to someone's channel on Twitch.
You violate word filters, so you're clearly telling us that you don't think the rules apply to you. You insult people for how they choose to spend their money, saying that they're wasting it on what they choose to be entertaining while not having the presence of mind to understand that you're doing the same thing. You insult users here for daring to disagree with you, calling us names because you don't like what we're saying, asking you to justify how you somehow have the right to judge how someone else spends their money, while not even reflecting a whit on you doing the same thing.
I was saying directly because you and the other one *at least for me* seemed to not getting exactly what I was trying to say·
I violate word filters because people will know the word anyway· Applying makeup on words or not it's the same, the intention is what counts· I insulted people based only in the act of donating/subscribing on Twitch· As that's the point, I didn't think about other actions at all·
I got you when you meant about entertainment· It's like Twitch is the same than cinema or any other entertainment· I see what you mean here, it is, but I don't get why people still donate/subscribe if there's many others free streams that many times has higher quality content/play·
I really didn't appreciate your comments because as I explained above, I was meaning in a way, and your replies stated than I was meaning another that I didn't even think and/or it wasn't my intention· As I said also, our minds aren't connected, expression issues·
I have the right to express myself here as any other person, as long as it's not illegal stuff and breaking ToS and I'm always expecting the same from everybody and I have no problem with that, I'm democratic· If otherwise, I wouldn't even come here bother myself with· Sometimes I'm too anxious/bad-mooded *like today* so when I start talking, I may appear like crazy, overreacting and stuff· What made me mad was the reason above in the previous paragraph, not exactly by not agreeing with me···
After all, at least my English was put to the test· I never thought I could engage in such complicated debates just as I do in my native language· English feels almost native nowadays·
I would rather play the games myself
Yeah, I think just like you·
"make yourself a girlfriend " show people how, cos you'll find a lot of people is having issues with that lol
There are many ways people waste money - this is yet another.
I can't imagine spending even a dollar, to reward someone for streaming themselves, playing a video game. Not when I can watch free videos on youtube on how to complete a particular level etc.
I do see why some people subscribe though, I think they are very lonely and it's exciting for them to have their screen name called out by the broadcaster. Although - their explanation is along the lines of "I'm supporting someone who's doing what they love".
Everyone is different sure - but the logic behind financially rewarding someone's source of entertainment is beyond me - especially when that source of entertainment is just a video game.
I guess we will never understand our the stupid human mind works...
